We had the great privilege of welcoming His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Kualoa for a private luncheon at Paliku Gardens on Monday, April 16. Kualoa President John Morgan and his wife Carri greeted the Dalai Lama and had the honor of presenting him with a Kukui tree, which is a manifestation of Lono, the Hawaiian god of peace and agriculture. Following the presentation, the tree was planted in Paliku Gardens, serving as reminder of the special visit from His Holiness.
