Dragon Boat Lawn/Hale Nanea

Our Dragon Boat Lawn & Hale Nanea locations have a serene, oasis-like feel while simultaneously lush. Two large lawns come with this space, and are connected by a quaint footbridge. The Hale Nanea lawn (used for ceremony and/or cocktail hour) is an open, grassy space adorned with large coconut trees, a gorgeous dock, and a fruit stand that can be used as a bar. The Dragon Boat lawn includes two large monkey-pod trees, with plentiful shade and a breeze off of the 800-year-old Hawaiian fishpond. This location is known as the back drop for past TV productions such as 50 First Dates, Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates, Snatched, and many more

-U-Shaped Open-Aired Pavilion (capacity: 60) **note that there are movie photos on the walls


-Partial food prep area (refrigerator, sink, and counterspace)

-Access to the ‘fruit stand’ which can be made into a bar (event setup at fruit stand occurs no earlier than 3pm)

Main Lawn of Hale Nanea, which is a large, single level lawn area over looking the beautiful Moli’I Fishpond. (no tenting/receptions permitted on the Hale Nanea lawn).

Dragon Boat Lawn, which is adjacent to Hale Nanea and connected by a small footbridge. It is a large, grassy lawn also sitting on the Moli`i Fishpond. The Dragon Boat lawn has 2 large monkeypod trees framing the area, which creates a shady and tranquil setting for reception. Tenting is allowed on this lawn.

Venue Features


Maximum seating capacity is 250 between Hale Nanea & Dragon Boat Lawn. Tables and chairs are included in the rental for up to 100 guests. Setup/breakdown is not included in the pricing


Hale Nanea overlooks a 125-acre Ancient Hawaiian Fishpond, one of the largest and most well-preserved fishpond on O’ahu. The site includes a covered pavilion, a main lawn area and a side lawn.


U-Shaped open air pavilion, Restrooms/Water/Electricity, Partial food prep area


Electric outlets are available throughout the pavilion area as well as in the yard space


Free Parking is available on the lawns directly adjacent to the site

Venue Pricing for Dragon Boat Lawn/Hale Nanea

(10am-10pm, setup begins at 10am, music off at 10pm. All vendors must vacate the property by 11pm)

**Guest arrival must occur at 3pm and onward due to tours in the area prior to 3pm.

Monday-Friday: $3,295 plus tax and required $1,000 Security Deposit.

Saturday/Sunday: $3,895 plus tax and required $1,000 Security Deposit.
