Education Programs Guide
Responsible for leading age/grade level appropriate tours and activities that combine Kualoa Ranch history, Hawaiian culture and environment education. Provides care and maintenance of animals, facilities and agricultural features. Researches and restores Hawaiian cultural features and sites on property (e.g. fishpond, lo`i, forests, streams, etc.). Great communication skills, positive and professional attitude. High school diploma or equivalent required. One year of experience working with children in an educational setting. Knowledge of Hawaiian culture and language, sustainability and environmental awareness. Ability to meet the physical demands of caring for animals, conducting landscape maintenance, hiking, farming, canoe paddling, etc. Valid drivers license and good driving record. Open availability to include weekends and holidays.
