Human Resources & Training Manager
Responsible for providing organizational Human Resources support through accurate and consistent interpretation of policies and procedures with respect to company values, company policies, and applicable state and federal laws. Major focus on Employee Relations, Investigations, Training, Safety and Administration. Self directed professional with Human Resources technical and practical competence, coupled with the ability to make sound business decisions and a commitment to organizational goals. Qualified candidates will have proven skills in customer service, project management and performance management to include ability to conduct thorough investigations and disciplinary processes. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including Leadership, Safety & CPR training and curriculum development. Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated ability to manage & adapt to change, handle multiple priorities and confidential information. Excellent written & verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with people of various cultural backgrounds, levels of education and experience. Proven ability to partner with many areas & leverage resources to accomplish goals. Able to manage conflict, function under pressure, demonstrate discretion, integrity, fair-mindedness, and a persuasive, congenial personality. 5 years of management and supervisory experience. Knowledge of Hawaiian culture and values beneficial.
