Full Time

Provides oversite and management for the performance of a wide variety of landscape maintenance functions including but not limited to mowing, water management, trimming, pruning, weeding, edging, fertilizer and herbicide applications. Organizes and establishes the planning and scheduling necessary to ensure all services are performed in a safe and timely manner, including working alongside general laborer to complete tasks. Utilizes resources productively and conducts quality checks see that all standards are strictly maintained. Responsible for the development and resourcing of new landscape projects. Directs the implementation of construction, alteration and installation of such projects. Coordinates personnel, resources, materials, and communication necessary to assure smooth and efficient landscape construction activities. Acts as the project manager for the organization and direct supervision of operations/activities related to the construction and maintenance of new landscape installation. Position can include opportunities to design landscapes. Responsible for the supervision, safety training, payroll reporting, and field quality control of landscape personnel including 8 to 15 hourly staff. 5 years of supervisory experience in a landscape operations position required. A degree/coursework or certification in a landscape related field are strongly preferred. Strong initiative with ability to work with limited direct supervision. Must be computer literate and proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Required to assist in the development and preparation of the Department budget; review budgetary and financial data; monitor expenditures and provide recommendations. Must have knowledge of and be competent in the operation of landscaping equipment. Ability to meet physical and environmental demands as required. Great customer service & teamwork skills a must. Required to adhere to and enforce all company policies, standards and safety guidelines, work with other employees as a team, and meet or exceed company production rates set forth. Open availability to include weekends and holidays. Valid driver’s license & good driving record.
