Use of drones in or over Kualoa Ranch also constitutes an illegal trespass, an invasion of Kualoa Ranch’s privacy, and a tortious interference to our operations.
  • Outside Animals & Service Animals

Q: Can guests bring a pet to Kualoa Ranch? No. Outside animals are not permitted at Kualoa Ranch. This is for the safety and well-being of guests, staff, native and endangered wildlife, livestock, and ecosystems. Q: Does Kualoa Ranch allow Emotional Support or Comfort animals? No. Kualoa Ranch does not allow guests to bring pets, emotional support, comfort or other animals onto its premises. Only service animals are allowed if the animal meets the legal definition of a service animal. Other animals are not allowed for the safety and well-being of guests, staff, native and endangered wildlife, livestock, and ecosystems. Q: Can guests bring a service animal to Kualoa Ranch? Yes, guests who have a disability can be accompanied by a service animal. Due to the nature of certain activities, service animals cannot accompany guests at all activities and in all areas. We would be happy to discuss with you the activities that guests with service animals are able to participate or observe. Please call (808) 237-7321, email [email protected], or if in-person ask a staff member at the information desk or ticket office. Q: What is a “Service Animal”? A “service animal” is a dog that has been trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Due to the nature of certain activities, there are certain areas of Kualoa Ranch where service animals are restricted due to the presence of native and endangered wildlife, livestock, or vulnerable ecosystems. If an accommodation is granted to allow a service animal on to Ranch property, the arrangement may be permitted on a temporary basis. Reasonable behavior is expected from service animals while on Ranch property. Disruptive and aggressive service animals must be removed from the premises immediately and permission to bring the animal to the Ranch will be revoked. All service animals need to be immunized against rabies and other diseases common to that type of animal. All vaccinations must be current, and service animals must be in good health. Service animals must wear an owner identification tag (which includes the name and phone number of the owner) at all times. Service animals must be on a leash, harness or other type of restraint at all times, unless the owner/partner is unable to retain an animal on leash due to a disability. The guest must be in full control of the service animal at all times. The care and supervision of the service animal is solely the responsibility of the guest. The guest is expected to clean and dispose of all service animal waste appropriately.
