This private 3-hour UTV ride-along tour will take you through the land stewardship divisions of the ranch property where you can get up close and intimate with our Native Hawaiian plant restoration sites. Not only will you see many of the famous movie site spots, but youʻll also get a narrated tour, riding along with your guide. Besides seeing the amazing Hakipuʻu and Kaʻaʻawa “Jurassic” Valley, youʻll contribute to revitalizing our Hawaiian forests by planting a vital native tree; the native Koa.

ABOUT TOUR

3-Hour Private UTV Ride Along Tour

Youʻll ride along with your own guide …and just your party of four, in one of our open-air UTV Raptor vehicles. (Larger party sizes may be able to be accommodated later in the day). During the 3 hours, youʻll learn alot about Kualoaʻs stewardship efforts in restoring native plants throughout our 4000 acre private nature reserve. In addition, youʻll be able to take pictures and see many of the most famous movie site areas … from some of the 200+ Hollywood movies and TV shows filmed here since Elvis in the 1950ʻs!

At the end of your tour, youʻll be able to plant and help reforest the beautiful, native koa. Koa wood had many uses for the Hawaiian people … from being used for the canoes, to bowls and platters for food, as well as decorative purposes. It is considered the most prized Hawaiian wood for its amazing grain and colorations. Youʻll not only have some fun, take lots of pictures and see our beautiful private nature reserve, but youʻll be doing some good … and giving back a little to help keeping our lands preserved for future generations to enjoy.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE

Tours go out rain or shine, so we recommend bringing a change of clothes if necessary.
YOU WILL NOT BE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE as your private tour will be given by your very own tour guide.
Minimum rider age is 5 years old. Maximum people per tour is 4. Minimum is 2.
We suggest bringing sunglasses/sunscreen. Covered footwear suggested but not required.
Advanced reservations are recommended as tours may sell out.
