    Aloha Aina Farm Tour

Aloha Aina Farm Tour

Our Aloha Aina Farm Tour allows guests to see the beauty and tranquility of one of Oahu’s most well-preserved ancient Hawaiian fishponds (Moli’i), which is carbon-dated at between 800 and 1,000 years old. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, you’ll get to learn about early Hawaiian aquaculture practices and how fish was farmed in this 153-acre actively farmed fishpond, still standing with much of the original stonewall infrastructure in place. Moli’i fishpond has been continually used to raise fish for the last 800 years!

Guests will travel on a Trolley to explore the tropical fruit and flower gardens of Moli’i along the shores fronting our “Secret Island.” Admire the accomplishments of the early Hawaiians as the rich stories of the voyaging canoe and ancient fishpond unfold.

  • A “Must Do” on Oahu

The Ancient Pond and Garden tour was much more interesting than I thought it would be. It held our 5yr old’s interest as well. He was exhausted with the multiple tour option we chose for one day that he actually fell asleep on the jungle expedition! It was quite the bumpy ride too! The expedition gives you different views of the ranch.that you don’t see on the other tours.

  • Experience Package

We chose the experience package at Kualoa Ranch and did the Ancient Hawaiian Fishpond, Movie Sites & Ranch, and Jungle Expedition Tours. We loved them all! We also had a Go Oahu card and did the Catamaran Boat Tour the same day. The buffet lunch was very good. Parking was free at the ranch. We were glad we had rented a car, it allowed us to spend a whole day at the ranch without worrying about the bus schedules.

  • Wish our Ranch visit could’ve lasted longer! We have friends getting married in the beautiful gardens at Kualoa Ranch & I wish we were able to go back for it – truly some of the prettiest tropical landscape on the island.

  • Premium Movie Sites tour  was excellent for LOST fans! The ranch also has ATV and horse-back riding, as well as jungle and garden tours and a zipline. It’s a beautiful property, and I highly recommend making it a part of a trip to Oahu!

  • Highlight of our trip! My Husband and I visited Kualoa Ranch on our honeymoon. Our first tour was the Garden and Fish Pond Tour. We drove in a no window bus down the road and were taken through an agricultural field of plants and trees, suprisingly very interesting.

  • Kualoa Ranch is a most beautiful piece of this planet. Wonderful scenery & back country trips.
We did the 2 hour ATV tour in the Kualoa valley while at the Kualoa Ranch. This brings you back into one of the most beautiful areas of this planet. This is where many movies have been made & there are parts of the movie sets still remaining.

  • VIP Movie Tour . . . . Fantastic
Took the air conditioned, VIP movie tour with George as our guide. The tour is two+ hours and is full of information about Kualoa Ranch, Hawaiian culture, and filming done at the ranch. I knew we would see movie and TV items but didn’t know I would learn what an Ahupua’a is (go on the tour and find out for yourself). Kinda cool. The views on the tour are incredible. The are many opportunities to get out of the van to take pictures of the vistas and movie sites and props. In fact, this is the only tour that lets you get out at some of the sites. George was very knowledgeable about the films/TV shows shot at the ranch. Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Snatched, George of the Jungle, Tears of the Sun, Kong Skull Island, Godzilla, 50 First Dates, Windtalkers, Lost, Hawaii 5-0, etc. We were able to see sites and props from each as well as hear about filming and how it was done. There was never a time where I was bored or not interested in what was going on. I have been to Oahu many, many times and have never done this tour. What a mistake. I must say that on this latest trip to the island this tour was, by far, my favorite activity. Well done, George, and Kualoa Ranch!
